Welcome to "i" (pronounced “eye”) ("App"), a QR code scanning application provided by Ghozt Systems Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization.
2. License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App solely for personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent permitted by law.
- Use the App to scan QR codes for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
- Interfere with the security or integrity of the App or its underlying systems.
4. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App and its content (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by or licensed to Ghozt Systems Inc. You agree not to copy, modify, or distribute any portion of the App except as expressly permitted by these Terms.
5. Hosted and Third-Party Content
The App decodes all QR codes and presents the data or URL embedded in them. For QR codes containing the special “i” symbol (as displayed within the App), Ghozt Systems Inc. hosts and serves the associated content. For all other QR codes, the App does not host, filter, or endorse any content linked from them. You bear all risks associated with visiting or interacting with external websites or content.
6. Disclaimers
- THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
- WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
- WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, I INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ghozt Systems Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of the App.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the revised Terms in the App and update the Effective Date above. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
